Virginia Beach man sentenced to 12 years in jail for school shooting plot

 

 

A 19-year-old Virginia Beach man was sentenced to 12 years in prison Wednesday for conspiring to conduct a shooting at Landstown High School. Charles Bay, was convicted for planning an attack on the school in April of 2009, 10 years after the Columbine High School shootings. A student at the school he recruited to help him backed out and alerted authorities.
