Chesapeake police investigate drive-by shooting

Chesapeake police are investigating the reported drive-by shooting of two people sitting on a front porch in the 1700 block of Acorn Street at 1 a.m. Wednesday, according to a news release.

The two victims told police that they were sitting on their front porch when four to five men began shooting from a gold four-door vehicle driving past, according to a Chesapeake police news release. Each victim was struck in the leg and they were transported to Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
