Double XL Facts: The Blueprint Chapter Two: From Rapper To Host:Rock The Mic University!

History: After the release of Hood Platinum 3, the success of the mixtape caught the attention of M$ Blendz. M$ Blendz was looking for someone to partner up to do a talent night  later named Rock The Mic University. After entering a pre party for an up coming award show she was planning, from the amount people following him, she chose Double XL. Rock The Mic University had many hosts (M$ Blendz, Abys, Sean Archer, Cymandee, just to name a few) and several DJs(Dj Twist, DJ Dre, DJ Scrappy, DJ Precise, to name a few). RMG, Spit Barz, Major Movement , Gman Entertainment, VA Co OP, 7Armz, Hood Platinum, & many more artists were all regulars at Rock The Mic University . Rock the Mic was a grooming ground for stars. The showcase actually never made it to the P town club in the promo, however they toured Virginia Beach, Newport News, Norfolk, Hampton and Chesapeake. FRom the many contests, trips out of town, 15 minute spotlight, Rock the Mic University helped change VA music, Unity, Radio and Promotions forever. Double XL along with Abys  were the unforgettable host for 6 seasons!
