Gunshot victim dies in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach Police are investigating a homicide along Barberton Court early Monday morning.

While few details have been released at this time, Grazia Moyers with the Virginia Beach Police Department tells WAVY.com police received a call for a gunshot victim around 4:30 a.m. in the 900 block of Barberton Court at the Oceanfront.

The victim is deceased, Moyers said.

At this time, police have not said if the victim is a male or female. It is also unknown if the victim died at the scene or a local hospital.
