One of the two men shot at the Rite Aid in Norfolk on Thursday was pronounced dead at the hospital, a police spokesman said.
The second man's injuries don't appear to be life-threatening, said Chris Amos, spokesman for Norfolk police. No charges have yet been filed.
EARLIER: Two men were taken to the hospital after they were both shot inside a Rite Aid in Norfolk at 2 p.m. Thursday, a police spokesman said.
Norfolk police arrived to the scene in the 3600 block of Tidewater Drive and found two men suffering gunshot wounds, said Chris Amos, spokesman for Norfolk police. The men had been having an argument that escalated into an exchange of gunfire, according to police investigation.
One man suffered life-threatening injuries, Amos said. No employees of the store were involved.
The investigation continues.
