VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A delivery driver made a gruesome discovery at a Virginia Beach fast food restaurant early Tuesday morning, forcing police to launch a homicide investigation.
Just after 2 a.m. Tuesday, Virginia Beach Emergency Communications received a call for a gunshot wound in the 800 block of Lynnhaven Parkway at the Rally's fast food restaurant in the Parkway Shopping Center.
MPO Tonya Borman with the Virginia Beach Police Department says a delivery driver returned to the business to find two victims at the scene deceased from what appear to be gunshot wounds.
The general manager of the restaurant says the restaurant normally closes at midnight and the bodies were found at 2:10 a.m. It is still unclear what time the shootings actually happened.
The investigation is ongoing and there are no suspect descriptions or motives at this time. Our prayers are with the families of the victims.
