Well lookie here, lookie here…
After leaving major label Interscope and signing to Rick Ross' Music imprint (which is confirmed), Wale seems to be putting work into his own projects. Word is that the Roc Nation rapper has a new label/business which he's in the forefront of. Apparently, hes pushing a new moviement called The Board Administration."
This label is rumored to be a collabo with his childhood friend and manager LeGreg Harrison, who has tweeted about this as well. Supposedly, Wale has a roster of R&B singers and Rappers including Black Cobain (who is the first act to be pushed), Fat Trel and Tiara Thomas. Go-Go band UCB is also on the label. All of the members of "The Board" are from the DMV area.
May sound odd, but the label also does other type of business like marketing for the likes of personalities such as Kevin Durant, Tre Kelly, John Wall, J.Holiday, Paula Campbell, Crystal Renee and more.
A birdie also says that all is well with Jay-Z on paper, but his next project "Attention Deficit 2" under RocNation, Maybach music and this new The Board Administration imprint. That’s a lil different. His video with Rick Ross and Meek Mill, "Pandemonium," should be out very soon as well.
